Book Chat – Favorite Books of 2016 + Disappointments

Happy New New Year’s Eve! This year, I read books all across the board—young adult, women’s fiction, thrillers, historical young adult, and more—and had an absolute blast! Here are my favorite reads of 2016. I hope you have a great night!

#Blogger Fail!  I had to film this video in a hurry and I totally forgot to mention a few other great books! THE MOTHERS by Brit Bennett is also absolutely fantastic and deserving of all the hype. WHEN BREATH BECOMES AIR by Paul Kalanithi was an emotional memoir of living while dying told by Dr. Kalanithi, a neurologist who is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Get the tissues, everyone! Lastly, I really enjoyed WATCHING EDIE by Camilla Way. This British thriller had a little surprise I didn’t see coming.
