Sunday Morning Book Chat #8 – Overlooked Books

Sunday Morning Book Chat #8 – Overlooked Books

Sunday Morning Book Chat is a weekly vlog in which I talk about random book-related things with a cup of coffee.  I thought it was also a great way for you to get to know me and for me to get to know you!

In this book chat I:

  • how much I suck at reading,
  • discuss books I think more people should read,
  • share with you some recent books I received for review, and
  • talk about some new books I added to my to-read list.

Grab a cup of coffee or tea and click PLAY!  If you can’t see the video, you can watch HERE

  • What are you reading?
  • Did you finish any books last week?
  • What are some books you wished more people would read?

✥ Don’t miss a new release.  Keep up with my upcoming releases page! ✥

THANKS FOR WATCHING!! READ SOMETHING GOOD THIS WEEK!

  • I was going to do a post similar to this for some of my, I call them, ‘under-the-radar books’, but I got lazy and forgot about it. There are a few books that I love that NO one talks about. I mention them on FB occasionally to try to give them exposure. I need to get off my butt and make the post already.

  • Paula Novack

My most overlooked books are JD Nixon’s two series- Little Town and Heller series. I feel like they don’t get the attention they deserve. Both series could be described as romantic/suspense and I love both main female characters.
I still need to read Painted Faces and Georgina Kincaid. I love Richelle Mead.
I’m a huge fan of Priscilla Glenn’s books. Back To You is my favorite of hers.
I finished one book last week, Poison Princess by Kresley Cole and I loved it. I started book 2 this morning.

    • You mentioned those books to me before.

Let me know when you read Painted Faces and Georgie!

I can’t wait for Priscilla Glenn’s next book!!

  • Karen

I love That Boy Series! I can’t wait to read Thou Shalt Not – it looks really good. A few of my top over looked books are Love Me Back by Michelle Lynn, Puddle Jumping by Amber L. Johnson, and Transcendence by Shay Savage.

I absolutely adored all 3 of these books, but yet not too many people are raving about them on social media!

    • I haven’t read the three you mentioned. I’ve seen Puddle Jumping and Transcendence around, but I haven’t read them. 🙂

  • Happy Sunday! One of my favorite under the radar books or even just the author is Cara McKenna. I love her characters. More relatable in real life situations. My fav of hers After Hours. I finished After the Rain by Renee Carlino and am currently living in sin and read The Angel by Tiffany Reisz.

I’ve just started watching your last two Sunday morning blog posts and have been really enjoying them!! I have had Emancipating Andie on my kindle for a long time but haven’t gotten around to reading it. Now I’m bumping it way up my list!!! As for book signings, I wish I could go to RT. Have fun!!

    • Hi Denise! Thanks for watching! I’m happy you’re enjoying them! Thanks for putting up with my randomness! You should totally read Emancipating Andie! I hope you like it! Perhaps we will run into each other at another signing. 🙂
