My favorite season is in full swing! Crisp morning air means countless cups of coffee and tons of time cozy up with a book! Below I’ve listed several books I hope to get to this fall. Some of them are Fall 2016 releases and some are some oldies I’ve been wanting to read.

1.) Beautiful by Christina Lauren
BEAUTIFUL just came out! It’s the final book in Christina Lauren’s Beautiful series. I’m in the mood for something light, so I hope this one is a good one! I’m curious to see what adult books CL will come out with next! I know a YA is scheduled for release next year.

UPDATE 10/17/2016: I finished Beautiful over the weekend and thought it was so freaking sweet and funny. Such a good ending to this series. Annnnnd their next adult book is called Dating You / Hating You, out in June 2017. Read about it here.
2.) The Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead (Re-read)
It’s been over four years since I fell in love with Rose and Dimitri in the thrilling VAMPIRE ACADEMY series. I’m planning on doing a reread soon! Does anyone want to join me? I still need to finish the Bloodlines series!

4.) The Mothers by Brit Bennett
THE MOTHERS has been getting a ton of buzz this fall. The publisher has been releasing some teaser quotes that I love! “All good secrets have a taste before you tell them, and if we’d taken a moment to swish this one around our mouths, we might have noticed the sourness of an unripe secret, plucked too soon, stolen and passed around before its season.”

5.) Unearthly by Cynthia Hand
One of my best friends is a huge young adult reader and recommended that I read Cynthia Hand’s UNEARTHLY series. Has anyone read it? It’s been out for awhile. It’s about a girl who finds out she’s half-angel. She starts having dreams with a boy. When she moves and starts a new school, the boy in her dreams is there!

6.) Sugar Daddy by Lisa Kleypas
I feel like every one of my book friends has read SUGAR DADDY by Lisa Kleypas and really enjoyed it. Since I’ve been dying to find really good contemporary romances, I figured I would finally pick this one up. Do you have any other awesome contemporary romance recommendations?

7.) The Art of Crash Landing by Melissa DeCarlo
THE ART OF CRASH LANDING came highly recommended to me by one of my book friends! I read the opening paragraph and was hooked. Here is the first line: “Twenty-seven minutes is, if anyone ever asks, exactly how long it takes to cram everything I own into six giant trash bags.”

8.) After You’d Gone by Maggie O’Farrell
I had never heard of AFTER YOU’D GONE until a few months ago. I was perusing around the bookish posts on Tumblr and came across this incredibly moving quote: “What are you supposed to do with all the love you have for somebody if that person is no longer there? What happens to all that leftover love? Do you suppress it? Do you ignore it? Are you supposed to give it to someone else?” I immediately added this book on Goodreads after reading that quote.

9.) The Next by Stephanie Gangi
The publisher recently sent THE NEXT by Stephanie Gangi to me for review consideration and it sounds like the perfect October read! From the synopsis: “Is there a right way to die? Follow Joanna DeAngelis as she travels from life into death, through memory and beyond desire, across the streets of New York City, searching for the answer and seeking vengeance against the man who wronged her.” Doesn’t this sound good?

10.) From Sand and Ash by Amy Harmon
I recently got this book from the publisher, and I am excited to read this one. It’s Amy Harmon’s upcoming historical novel set during the tumultuous times of World War II. From the synopsis: “Now, more than a decade later, Angelo is a Catholic priest and Eva is a woman with nowhere to turn. With the Gestapo closing in, Angelo hides Eva within the walls of a convent, where Eva discovers she is just one of many Jews being sheltered by the Catholic Church.”
