“Around the Book Blogosphere” is a feature to share posts from other book blogs or other book-related websites that I have enjoyed reading.  Book blogging is all about sharing the love, right?

SEX in Young Adult

Let’s Talk About…Sex in YA!
Nereyda from Mostly YA Book Obsessed did a fantastic post about sex in young adult novels.  She brought up a great point:

“Now, I don’t think all characters in YA should be having sex all the damn time, but the topic shouldn’t be shied away from readers either. This doesn’t paint a realistic picture because, have you seen the statistics? The reality is that most teens in high school do have sex.”

Cristina's Blog Reviews
Cristina posted a great question this week.  How do you feel about 5 star reviews?  What are your thoughts on 5-star reviews?  What does a 5-star book mean to you?
My question:  Does it bother you when a blogger only posts 5-star reads or loves every book they read?  Do you like seeing variety of ratings on a blog or does it not matter to you?

Jamie McGuire’s upcoming novella, Happenstance, took the book world by surprise.  Take a look at the gorgeous cover designed by Sarah Hansen from Okay Creations over at Stuck in Y.A. Books.

Another Okay Creations cover was revealed this week.  Hop on over to Books Over Boys for a looksee at Ripped (Real #5) by Katy Evans.

I absolutely loved reading through my RSS feed and seeing the cover reveals for One More Chance by Abbi Glines.  Instead of the usual cover reveal posts, each blogger posted a picture of themselves holding the cover.  I loved it.  Check out Autumn Review’s cover reveal.

Room For You by Beth Ehemann

Reviewed by Autumn Review

Here’s what Autumn had to say about Brody (swoon) the hero from the book, “Brody is not a typically guy. He’s a famous hockey player, but he isn’t the typical player kind of athlete. Not that he doesn’t have flings, but he’s better suited to having a relationship. He understands the value of family, but until Kacie, isn’t wasn’t on his radar anytime soon.”  MEGA-SWOON!!
