Around the Book Blogosphere #3

“Around the Book Blogosphere” is a feature to share posts from other book blogs or other book-related websites that I have enjoyed reading.  Book blogging is all about sharing the love, right?

One of my favorite posts ever:

Cristina's Blog Reviews

Cristina wrote a fabulous post a couple of weeks ago.  She writes about how everyone has different opinions about what is a 5-star read and what isn’t and also her biggest book pet peeves.  Join in the discussion!

“Sometimes I see a lot of reviews that are 5 stars and it makes me wonder if there’s something wrong with me because I definitely don’t love every book I read.”

Book Rock Betty

Book Rock Betty is one of my FAVORITE book bloggers.  Her posts are always packed with personality and useful information.  Check out her post called “Random Rantings:  Are You Smarter Than An Author?“.

“I catch myself scolding the author in my head for not immersing themselves in the lifestyle to truly understand what they are trying to represent in their book.”

She discusses the lengths authors go to in order to make sure their books are well-researched and true to life and how different people have different perspectives.

COVER REVEALS & NEW BOOKS!

Since Leah Raeder got a book deal with Atria, Unteachable by Leah Raeder got a new cover!   I love how the new cover incorporated the color scheme of old cover.  Take a look at the new cover over at Cristina’s Book Reviews!

Dizneeee’s World of Books revealed the gorgeous cover for The Hit List by Nikki Urang.  This cover is so beautiful and the book sounds really good.

Autumn from Autumn Review took me down memory.  For her Swoon Thursday post a couple weeks ago, she picked Thief by Tarryn Fisher.  Go read it and have your heart ripped out.  You’re welcome.

Autumn was on fire the past couple of weeks.  She also posted an exclusive excerpt of Rusty-Nailed by Alice Clayton.  Who’s ready for more Simon and Caroline? You don’t have to way too much longer.  Rusty-Nailed comes out on June 24, 2014.  You can read the excerpt here.

Stephanie from No BS Book Reviews is probably one of the biggest Divergent series fans.  She had a chance to see an advanced screening of Divergent.  That result in this AWESOME post.  Steph talks about the Divergent makeup, reviews the movie and casting.  And of course, there is a whole bunch of Four love.  Caution: MAJOR FANGIRLING.
